Abstract

ABSTRACT

Digitization represents the transformation of the information process from an analog to a digital format. The emergence of industry 4.0 is seen by adopting new digital technology by companies in the manufacturing industry to transform digitally. This study examines digital readiness for evaluating supply chain aspects of manufacturing companies in Jabodetabek to execute industry 4.0. By embracing industry 4.0, manufacturing companies can benefit from enabled smart manufacturing processes, improved supply chain performance and higher business productivity. Descriptive quantitative research design with data from 67 manufacturing companies located in Jabodetabek. Using a systematic random sampling method using the Digital Readiness Check (DRC) questionnaire technique. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is used for data analysis with Smart-PLS software support. The results of the study show that most manufacturing companies in Greater Jakarta have carried out Digital Transformation (DT) in the Industry 4.0 era with strategy that have possitive impact on business inovation and supply chain. However, in this study, most of  manufacturing company in Jabodetabek showed that the readiness of employee and digital technology were not sufficient for Industry 4.0 readiness.
