DAMPAK PANDEMI COVID-19 TERHADAP KINERJA EKSPOR PRODUK ALAS KAKI

Abstract

Artikel ini menjelaskan secara deskriptif mengenai industri alas kaki sebelum masa pandemi hingga perkembangannya selama pandemi. Sebelum pandemi global yang berdampak negatif terhadap perekonomian global pada tahun 2020, Indonesia mencatatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang stabil, namun terlihat penurunannya yang cukup tajam pada triwulan II tahun 2020, meski kemudian pada akhir 2020 menunjukkan adanya perbaikan.

Hasil desk studi menunjukkan nilai perdagangan untuk beberapa komoditas di dunia secara umum mengalami penurunan selama periode 2019"’2020. Penurunan tajam terjadi pada periode Januari hingga Juli 2020 ketika terjadi pandemi Covid-19. Penurunan perdagangan beberapa produk ini akibat adanya pembatasan pergerakan barang antarnegara dan juga penurunan permintaan akibat resesi global. Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan dampak pada industri alas kaki, yaitu pertumbuhan negatif - 3,6%, menurunnya neraca dagang -38,1%, dan menurunnya investasi sebesar -41,8%. Selain itu, terdapat kelesuan pasar ekspor yang dialami. Terjadi penurunan utilisasi sebanyak 70-83% » 41%, perumahan karyawan 57,927 orang, dan mengalami 70% masalah pada pasokan bahan baku. Permasalahan negara tujuan ekspor mengalami lockdown dan beberapa buyer cancel order atau postpone order atau mengalami penundaan pembayaran. Selain itu, pasar domestik yang selama ini menyerap cukup tinggi mengalami kelesuan.Secara umum, permasalahan yang dihadapi industri alas kaki, yaitu bahan baku dan cashflow, energi dan teknologi, sdm, pasar, lingkungan serta regulasi dan iklim usaha
